About Us

Parenting our children has been a great joy in our life. As parents of a twenty four year old son, and a twenty one year old daughter, our role as parents has inherently changed. We still enjoy our role, because you never stop being a Mom and Dad. Our journey in parenting has offered many challenges, but also provided the greatest of blessings and joy along the way.

We received our Parent Coaching certification from the Parent Coaching Institute, and Seattle Pacific University, the only graduate level Parent Coaching curriculum in the country. They are the standard in the industry. While our course work has been an invaluable resource, we have also benefited from many years of successful parenting, and a great deal of one-on-one experiences with our past and current parent coaching clients. We truly enjoy empowering Moms and Dads to parent to their best. Parenting is life long, and your children deserve your best.

About Tim

Tim Brady

After receiving my BA in Marketing from Boise State University, I became a husband, Dad, and co owner of a team sporting goods business with my brothers. As Kelly and I approached the “empty nest,” we began a journey to become parent coaches.

Like you, family is very important in my life. I was raised in a family of eleven children, so there were few dull moments growing up. I often wondered how my parents kept their wits about them, especially when I became a parent myself. But my Mom states, “We really didn’t know different, and in many ways it’s harder to raise children in today’s world.”

My background also includes over 15 years of sports coaching at the youth and high school level. While I enjoy working with parents in many areas of parenting, my emphasis of study has been sports parenting in today’s challenging sports culture.

About Kelly

Kelly Brady

Teaching is my passion. I have taught in a variety of grades for over 25 years. My formal education includes a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, an endorsement in Gifted and Talented, and a designation as a Parent Coach from The Parent Coaching Institute and Seattle Pacific University.

Being a Mom is one of my greatest privileges. I am aware that Mothers today are challenged to parent in an incredibly face paced world. I help Moms better care for self, so they better care for family.

My Outlook

Moms today are pushed in many directions. They sacrifice much for their family. The sacrifice can become too great when Mom’s care for self is neglected. Moms think if they just had more time, when the bigger focus should be on energy.. It is important for Mom’s to look at the place where time and energy intersect in their life.

The school system today can seem overwhelming and confusing. Parents want the best fit for their child when it comes to choosing programs. It is valuable to realize all the possibilities within the school system.

The gifted child is unique. Like all kids, they face challenges in their life. Sometimes gifted children have heightened sensitivities. With these sensitivities, they face emotional, social, and organizational challenges. It is important to understand that while their challenges can be unique, so can their strengths.

Guidance Coaching the Gifted Child

I have a passion for being a guidance coach for gifted children. Some of the topics I include in my work with gifted children include; friendships, parent relationships, positive self talk, stress, perfectionism, social issues, socially acceptable behaviors, time-management, organizational skills, appropriate conversations, and awareness of the effects of screen machines on their brain.
